Delete your account
You can delete your RxAssist account at any time, from this page or from the app. Here is exactly what happens.
Erased immediately
- Your sign-in — the account stops existing and the number stops working
- Your phone number
- Your saved addresses
- The family members you added
- Prescription photographs we have not dispensed against
- Your marketing and reminder preferences
Kept, because the law requires it
- Records of medicines dispensed to you, and the prescriptions that authorised them — the sales register every pharmacy must maintain under the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945.
- Invoices, for six years, under the GST rules.
These are detached from your account and are no longer linked to a working sign-in. Your phone number is replaced with a one-way code so a record still points at a real sale without naming you. No member of staff can look you up by name or number afterwards.
Deletion cannot be undone. If you order again afterwards you start as a new customer, with no order history and no saved addresses.
